Samuel Hawkins Table

Description

Large, antique English table dating back to the early Victorian era, patented by Samuel Hawkins (the patent is shown on the telescopic mechanism, as shown in the photos). The table is made entirely of solid walnut and burl walnut, supported on the outside by six turned, ribbed legs fitted with original brass cup-shaped casters. The table extends thanks to a telescopic mechanism operated by a crank.
